David Stonner works as a staff photographer for the Missouri Department of Conservation. His main role is as a contributor to MDC’s monthly magazine, Missouri Conservationist, as well as numerous MDC publications. He's been a professional photographer for 6 years.
Exploration of the wild beauty of nature, and the interaction of man and environment is the driving force behind David’s work.
The “moments” that happen around us are fleeting. The dramatic instants in the natural world are inspiration. David grabs his camera, throws on a backpack, or grabs a paddle to experience the beauty and harshness nature has to offer.
Slow down. Look around. Stop and smell the wildflowers.
